Fishtank.Live Season 4

Fishtank Live, if you don’t know, is a 24/7 stream house/internet reality show from Sam Hyde and Jet Neptune. I feel like Ben should be mentioned too as he really contributes a lot. It’s a more interactive, edgier Big Brother that’s accommodating to the terminally online. It’s my favorite internet thing.

I want to get a post out tonight, so I’m not going to dive into explaining the whole show, it’s been done all over YouTube and I’m currently watching it as I’m writing so. Going to be light.

My Day One Impressions

For some context, I was working most of the day but listening to the show at least through Director mode. That said, I’m probably not going to be your digest guy - again lots of those on YouTube and X but you really should just be watching the show over at fishtank.live

Jin - Not much. Really haven’t seen/heard too much from him yet. Quiet overall so far.

Direnc - The other “not much” but she’s definitely got a weird vibe and maybe a recreational crack smoker.

Angelina - Fan girl, been overall kind of annoying so far.

Ellie - The youngest one of the group and I think she’s going to do pretty well.

Freddy - I think he could be good here but I also really think he’s full of shit, maybe a compulsive liar.

Rachel - Rachel is pretty obnoxious, Airsoft Fatty-coded, and could probably be something of a force if she finds her flow and doesn’t play up her traumas.

Daniel - Probably the most autistic fish the show has seen yet and something of a bar has been set. He’s going to be awesome.

Aryeh - Pretty autistic and really funny. Sam noted he’s “a glob” and that’s not wrong. He is all kinds of weird and already a fan favorite.

Wrap Up

There are a few different brands of Fishtank watcher. I’m not going to get super into it here, but I’m overall a “we’re so back” kind of Fishtank Live enjoyer. I don’t blindly say every thing they try and do is amazing and works. They throw out some stinkers, but overall, I love this thing. With it’s execution, it’s one of the most wildly unique and fun live streams out there.
